Billy Joel canceled the Toronto display bringing up clinical situation on Saturday
Billy Joel has canceled the dates of eight concerts including a Toronto show at the Rogers Center on this Saturday due to medical condition.
American singer, lyricist and pianist, 75, said in an Instagram post on Tuesday that his visit would be postponed for four months to give him time to overcome surgery and participate in physical therapy while taking care of his doctors. According to the post, Joel is expected to make complete recovery.
Joel has been reinforced to perform at Toronto at the Rogers Center on March 14, 2026.
“When I regret it to postpone any show, my health should come first. I am eager to go back to the stage and share the joy of live music with my amazing fans. Thanks to your understanding,” Joel says in the post.
The tour itself is ready to resume on 5 July 2025 at the Accure Stadium in Pittsburgh.
According to the post, all the tickets purchased for the show on Saturday will be automatically valid for the revised show in 2026.
Joel’s first song was to reach Billboard Hot 100 Chart Piano In 1974.
