Seven hospitalized after eating salutes was remembered due to Salmonella
Seven people have been admitted to the hospital after eating the salute, which was remembered due to possible salmonella contamination.
Canada’s public health agency issued a notice on Wednesday stating that 57 people – 44 in Alberta and 13 in Ontario – Rea brand Jenoa salute sweet, Ri brand Genoa salute and Bona Brand Mild Jenova became ill after eating.
The federal agency said that most of the people were ill after the mid -April and late May, after being purchased from the opening sandwiches or purchased from daily counters.
The products were also distributed at grocery stores, special markets, restaurants, cafes, delis and butcher shops. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency recalled products on 10 June in Ontario, Alberta and Manitoba.

Salmonella is a food-borne bacteria disease that can spread several days or weeks after a person is infected, even if they do not have symptoms.
This can be serious and potentially fatal infections especially for children, pregnant people, elderly and people with weak immune systems.
Healthy people may experience short -term symptoms like fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, cramps and diarrhea
