Business has become ‘difficult to maintain’ as a decline in meat-free category

A Canadian plant-based food brand, which was a head in some vegetarian and vegetarian homes, Yves Veji cuisine, being closed after 40 years in business, its original company on Thursday told CBC News.

In brand meat options, special, selling vei versions of daily slices-such as Ham, Turkey and Salute Hot Dogs made of Veji Burger, Meetball and Soya and other plant-based proteins.

A spokesperson of the US-based food company Han Celestial Group wrote, “This decision was not made lightly. The meat-free category has been declining for many years, due to which business has become rapidly challenging and difficult to maintain.”

The spokesperson said the Yaves Veji cuisine has not been sold to another company, although shopkeepers will still be able to find their products through a decline on the shelves of the grocery store and in the early winter.

“We believe that this announcement may be disappointing for many loyal consumers who have supported Yaves over the years. We are deeply grateful to their trust and commitment to the brand, and we expand our honest thanks to their constant support in our journey.”
