Typhoon Ragasa makes landfall in China after at least 15 murder in Taiwan

This year, the world’s most powerful tropical cyclone, Typhoon Ragasa, on Wednesday, killed 15 people in Taiwan in southern China and killed Hong Kong with brutal winds and heavy rains.

The fire department said on Wednesday that 17 people went missing after a barrier lake in Taiwan’s Eastern Huelian County, and sent a wall of water to a city.

The subtropical Taiwan, often collides with typhoon, is usually a well -worthy oil disaster system that causes people to be carried out on a large scale when taken out of potential danger areas quickly.

But several residents in Guangfu, who were thrown by tourists in Hulian, said that there was insufficient warning when a lake flowed during Tuesday’s torrential rains when super typhoon brought by Ragasa. The Emergency Management Ministry on Tuesday sent thousands of tents, folding beds, emergency lighting and other rescue supply in Guangdong province on Tuesday, Chinese state media reported, while more than 770,000 people have been evacuated.

Local media reported that some shops and restaurants in the province parked in a bid to mold large rented trucks in front of their storefront.

The traffic police carried forward the crowd chasing the storm under the Shenzhen Bay Bridge.

“The typhoon was really intense, but I had not gone out for a long time,” an electric scooter delivery driver said that the name of Tim and was using his vehicle to assess the damage.

The hospital authority in Hong Kong said that at least 50 people were injured by typhoon, while the government had opened 50 temporary shelters, within which 791 sought asylum.
