BJP man says no to belt, manners

Ludhiana: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) member Jatinder Goryan has been charged with misbehaving with traffic police on Pakhowal Road when pulled over for not wearing seat belt. None of the five people in his car had worn it. A video of the heated argument went viral. City Traffic Zone officer in-charge Kuldeep Singh has claimed that Goryan when signalled to stop, the politician parked his car in the middle of the road, causing a traffic disruption. Goryan then confronted the cops in an alleged misbehaving tone. As a result of the incident, the Sadar police station registered a case against Goryan and his companions under charges of obstructing a public servant and causing public nuisance, following a complaint from ASI Kuldeep Singh.
