Canadian Food Inspection Agency misses more items containing pistachios in Quebec
The agency announced that four different commodities were being called back due to possible contamination including Montreal-based company Aloe Simone and two Baklava pastry products, which were sold in a mall in Laval.
The federal agency states that some affected products were sold between 9 and 16 August.
Recently, more recalls have been released in Quebec for pistachio-rich products associated with the outbreak of Salmonella.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced on Friday that four separate items were being called back due to possible contamination.
They include two products from Montreal-based company Aloe Simone, as well as two Baklava pastries that were sold in a shopping mall Carfor Laval in the north of Montreal.
The back -called items include pistachios, and pistachio eggs of the company Aloe Simone’s citrus cherry and pistachio chocolate and rose petals, and their dark chocolate Easter eggs, made with nuts and raspberries.
The Food Inspection Agency says the affected Bakalwa pastries were sold between 9 and 16 August.
Many pistachio-rich products have been the subject of recall throughout Canada due to a link to a Salmonella outbreak in Canada in recent weeks.
