Ludhiana: A couple is among three people charged with defrauding a Delhi resident of ₹15 lakh by promising his son a job in the Human resource development ministry. The accused — Ajit Singh, Paramjit Kaur, and Amarjot Singh — allegedly took the money from complainant Narinder Puri, to adjust his son, Nitin Puri. After they failed to deliver or refund the money, Puri lodged a complaint. A case of forgery and fraud was registered.
