Mumbai: A 24-year-old biker died after his two-wheeler crashed into a road median near Powai lake ariybd 11 pm Saturday. The biker, Krishna Patil, was drunk at the time, the police said. He was rushing to Rajawadi Hospital, Ghatkopar, on receiving news that his mother had been admitted there.
Two of his friends — Mohammed Sahil Khan (23) and Nilesh Nishad — were riding pillion.The three had been drinking when Patil got a call from his brother. The three were thrown off the bike, and sustained injuries. —V Narayan
