Sansk. NDP and ALS Society calls the province for testing mousse jaw health center

Protest by Suskechewan, NDP and ALS Society in the province, in the mousse jaw. Health Minister Jeremy is calling from Jeremy Cocrill to start an investigation into the Gudeenoves Restaurant Health Center.

Last week, the CBC reported that Dr. who runs the center, Dr. Dayan Goodenoves told ALS patients that their dose could prevent and reversed the progression of the disease. On his YouTube account, he says, “It is not really so difficult to stop the progress of ALS.”

He supports his claim, pointing to some patients who say that they feel better at his dosage. He also told the CBC that he was working on studies to verify their effectiveness.

Goodenode ALS clients for its three-month live-in treatment program charge $ 75,000 US fee.

In the story of the CBC, some patients participated, said that it did nothing to improve their position.

The NDP and the ALS Society say there is no published scientific evidence to support the claims of Goodenove. They say that all science indicates that ALS is a death sentence.

He said that businesses should not be allowed to hunt weak people.

NDP Rural and Distance Health Critic Jred Clarke said at a news conference on Friday, “We are talking about people with an incurable disease, who are desperate for hope, being misled with promises that are not supported in any scientific evidence. It is a false hope that it is being sold for profit.”

“We cannot allow irregular facilities to target weaker people with misleading claims without any inspection or accountability. So today we are urging Minister Cockril.”

“We will invite the ministry to conduct a special inquiry,” Dennis Simard, Executive Director of the ALS Society of Suskechewan, said at the news conference.

Simard made a similar request months ago. In a letter of 12 February, he asked Cocrill to look at the business of Goodenoves and “take appropriate action to prevent the spread of false medical information that can take advantage of those facing ALS.”

ALS is a death sentence for its diagnostic. Now a scientist in mousse jaw claims that he has discovered the secret to prevent the disease in his tracks. CBC’s Geoff Leo examined the claims of a treatment, who are forgiving patients for over thousands of dollars, working hard to swallow in their documentary.

‘This is a private business’

Cuckeril denied the CBC request for an interview. In a written statement, he indicated that the provincial government could not do anything because the center of Gudeenove, “Suskechewan has no connection with the health care system.”

In an interview with the CBC, Gudenoves regularly emphasized that he is not a medical doctor and does not offer his convenience medical treatment or services. He has done his PhD in medical science along with emphasis in psychiatry from the University of Alberta.

“It is a private business, not a provincially regulated health center or affiliated,” Cockrill wrote. “This working person is not a licensed medical doctor, so he does not fall under any established health regulatory body.”

Clarke said that if the Cockeril is correctly describing the situation, it is another strong reason for him to do something else.

“This is why an investigation to me is important, to be able to assess whether there is any difference (and) whether we need additional law,” Clarke said.

Simard agreed.

“Well, we do not have a real place in the law that allows us to examine it. Let’s make one,” he said. “Let’s find a way that is going to allow us to protect the weakest people in our province.”

In its research, CBC was directed to Section 80 of Suskechewan’s Medical Profession Act, 1981, which shows that it is against the law in the province who is for a person who is not a registered medical professional to offer medical services.

It says that it is a crime in Suskechewan, if anyone, “for the hope of rent, profit or reward (i), then to attach or advertise to give advice in any aspect of practice, or (ii) presents any medicine or treats any disease or disease or treats any disease, drugs or treatment, effects or any form in any form.

If found guilty of the offense, “and the summary is responsible for punishment,” the culprit would be subject to a fine of up to $ 5,000.

The CBC asked the minister whether this law could apply in the matter. He did not answer the question.

Goodenode Extension of Operations

In his written statement, the minister said that “We do not know about any Suskechewan residents living with ALS who have accessed the services of Mr. Gudeenove.” He did not explain why he made that point.

Simard said that in the story of CBC, ALS patients were from the United States.

“These are all people who are being harmed by this process and I think we have the right to protect them,” said Simard.

He said that this question is not going to go far for the provincial government, as the Goodenove Mousse is planning to expand its operation in the jaw.

In April, Goodenove Mousse jaw vitality project announcedWhich his website describes as “$ 100 million community health initiative, providing free access to all residents of Mousse Jaw, Suskechewan for state -of -the -art health services and monitoring technologies.”

The project is planned to include five features, including a restaurant health center, a cafe and a feature that will build a supplement of Goodenove, which they have built in the United States so far.

Simard said that the mousse jaw city council should also focus on it.

He said, “Make sure that this person has no approval to move forward, so that it is not fully examined, until we can fully validate what is being done by this person, nothing should be done at any other level,” he said.

For his share, Simard said that he has warned 73 ALS patients of Suskechewan that they should have nothing to do with Gudenove or their convenience.
