Compulsory masking for horizon resumes as respiratory diseases grow in NB

Horizon Health Network has re-presented compulsory masking in all patients with all the patients in all features starting on Wednesday, citing an increase in respiratory virus activity.

All health care workers, patients, social visitors and designated support people will need to wear a medical grade face mask, also known as a surgical or procedure mask, all the time all the in-post units, outpatients/ambulatory care clinics and emergency departments and any other clinical settings, including waiting areas.
