Gloria Borelli and his mother Franceska shed tears as they hugged the cheek and kissed Mikhel Esterge, repeating the words “Thank you” outside Montreal’s Saikrya-Koyur Hospital.

More than a week after the discovery of good samari, who gave Gloria’s father, 87 -year -old Sabato Boreli, a life -saving CPR, mother and daughter finally met Esterez and another woman who played an important role that day, but who wanted to keep her identity private. On 15 May, Boreli fell after going into a cardiac arrest while exiting her daily walk near Jerry Park.

“You guys are superheroes for us,” Gloria told them.

On Monday, both strangers met Boreli inside their hospital room, where he continues to recover from Odial. He said “Thanks many times,” he said.

After reading about Esterez reached CBC Family discovery for the recovery of Boreli and good Samari that saved him. But he insisted that the CBC also finds the woman in the scene who was the first to call 911 and start the compresses that day.

“I am super happy that they have more time with someone who is important to them,” he said. “We all have people whom we care and sometimes we want we can give more time with them.”

Boreli turned 87 on the day of waking up in the hospital on 17 May.

He was pulled in his daughter’s decare parking around 3 pm, when she saw Boreli lying on the ground, she had a woman over the phone. The 911 operator asked if there were any defibra with a nearby. Esterez went out in the hope of finding one in the decar but there was no one.

By that time, the woman had already begun to compress the Borelli chest to the speed set by the 911 operator on the phone. Feeling some stress in his wrist, he allowed Esterej to handle after a few minutes.

He said, “He has these very deep blue eyes and I remember that I was looking at him while compressing and he was staring at me, so I really hoped that I would see him as I did today, he was alive with life in his eyes because I was afraid that he would bother me for a while.”

Esterez continued until a first paramedic came in an SUV, which is equipped with a defibrilater, which is at 3:15 pm, according to the logs of the Armense-Sant.

Paramedic shocked Borelli and asked another unknown person to take the chest contraction a little, Esterez said. Five minutes later, at 3:20 pm, the ambulance arrived and Boreli was rushed to the hospital.

“You are just left from there and don’t know if you have done well or if the person is still alive,” Esterez said.

Prizeing-Santte spokesman Jean-Pierre Rouleu says he was receiving high amounts of calls that day, which is why the ambulance was taken as long as it was done. Original remittance was received at 3:02 pm

In the last 30 days, the ambulance of prize-saint has come on the scene of high-primary calls within 8 minutes and 50 seconds, says Ruleu.

“There is a day, unfortunately, when the demand is exceeded and, okay, the sooner we want to answer the sooner,” he said. “We will always want to keep more resources but it is associated with the budget.”

Esterez said that 18 minutes was a long time, thinking that the traffic had to do something with delay.

For him, the lessons of that day are very clear:

“People should learn CPR and get out of the ambulance path,” he said.
