
Mumbai Traffic Police Launches Major Campaign to Recover Pending Fines | Mumbai News

Mumbai: The traffic police have started a major drive to recover pending fines from motorists involved in traffic violations. On Tuesday, traffic policemen were spotted at several locations in the suburbs such as Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road, SV Road in Jogeshwari West, Aarey signal on Western Express Highway, near NESCO in Goregaon East, and on the Western Express Highway in Santacruz East.
Some of the motorists ran up multiple unpaid challans. They were shown evidence and asked to clear their dues. On their X handle, Mumbai Traffic Police put up a post informing motorists that a Lok Adalat was scheduled on Dec 14 and all pending challans should be cleared before that to avoid inconvenience.
