A public health ontario report released on Thursday suggested a trend downward in new measles cases.
The health agency is reporting 12 new cases in the province, last week below 33 new cases and before 96.
Two more people were infected with highly infectious disease in a northern region, including the Sault Ste. Mary and the surrounding areas.
The region had been showing the biggest growth in cases for a few weeks.
Ontario currently has more measles cases than all of the US, and infections are climbing in Alberta and Manitoba. Four more people were infected in South -Western Ontario – the region that was the most difficult for months.
