Will resolve biogas plant row: CM

Ludhiana: Residents of Ghungrali village in Punjab’s Ludhiana district on Friday called on the chief minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, who tried to amicably resolve the issue of biogas plant by taking into confidence all the stakeholders, an official statement said. It said a delegation of the village, led by Hardeep Singh and newly elected sarpanch Amritpal Singh, met the CM at his office in the Punjab Civil Secretariat.

“During deliberations, the chief minister reiterated that the upcoming biogas plant will be totally pollution free,” it said. He said tthe plant will be “completely pollution free” and no one will be allowed to flout the norms.
