Ryobi-Cranded Electric Pressure Washer was remembered after injuries, fracture told
Around 780,000 pressure washes sold on retailers such as home depots are being recalled across the United States and Canada, resulting in fractures and other injuries between some consumers due to a projected threat.
According to a Thursday recall notice published by the US Consumer Produce Safety Commission (CPSC), TTI outdoor power equipment is missing some models of its Ryobi-branded electric pressure washer because the capacitor of products may overheat and burst, “parts are forced to evicted.”
This causes serious effects for users or understanding. To date, CPSC notes, power tools and equipment company received 135 reports of capacitor in the US – including 41 reports of explosions, resulting in consumer’s fingers, hands, face and eyes 32 injuries and/or fractures.

Ryobi Washers are model numbers RY142300 and RY142711VNM in under recall. In addition to 16,000 in Canada, around 764,000 were sold in the US.
Consumers can get free repair kit
Now consumers are urged to stop using them immediately and go in the possession of the pressure washed. Ryobi’s recall website To learn how to obtain a free repair kit, which includes a replacement capacitor.

The products in the US were sold at the Home Depot and Direct Tools Factory Outlets between July 2017 and June 2024.
TTI Outdoor Power Equipment is a subsidiary of Techtronic Industries (TTI). Associated Press reached the company on Thursday for further comments.
Beyond remembering Thursday’s pressure washer, TTI also recalled Ryobi-branded maawers and hedge trimmers earlier this year-due to the dangers of fire and lacquer.
