BC is streamlining the process for American nurses to work in BC. We hear from Rachel Smith-Teller, who serve as a registered nurse in Belton, Texas, but want to go to Nanymo.

A Nurse in Texas is expecting permanent shifting to Canada after attending a festival, which invited Americans to visit Nanimo, BC amidst the upheaval between neighboring countries.

Rachel Smith-Teller participated in the event last month and used it as an opportunity to reduce the possibility of starting a new life in Canada.

In an interview with CBC News, he said, “I need to get out of the red state in the same-sex marriage.”

He and his wife, Lisa, a nurse, live in Texas with her three children. Smith-Teller says Donald Trump’s re-election began to seriously consider leaving the US, worried about his family’s safety.

“We needed to get out of the red kingdom, or to make that idea process safe and move forward,” he said.

Its decision has come as BC and other Canadian province is looking to capitalize on the United States to attract new health care professionals to move north. British Columbia says that it has seen a 127 percent increase in applications from the US as it introduced a new streamlined system to apply to the American nurses to move early this year.

Smith-Teller has not yet taken this step, but last month he and his wife visited Nanymo after watching a viral tickek video by Canadian marketing professional Tod Maphin, encouraging Americans to investigate the city. He was warmly welcomed an impression.

American tourists visit Nanymo in a solidarity show with Canada

American is landing on Nanymo later this week, a local resident on social media as a sign of solidarity with Canada to invite to visit the BC city to visit the city. Liam Bretton of CBC led Nanaimo to talk with visitors.

“Anubhav strengthened my aspiration to contribute to Canada’s health care system,” she said.

He visited the Nanymo Regional General Hospital and learned more about the fast-track process of the province.

He spoke to CBC on the island Hest to host Gregor Cragi about the decision.

Is it to do with politics in America, or is it really about the desire to see the world?

Well, this is probably both, but I think I have to think that politics really gave us in this direction, of course.

We are almost empty nests. Our plan was to travel and see the world, and it is like a pull to reach us there.

When you heard that the province has said that you are streamlining the process of bringing nurses from states?

It was really giving me a lot of relief.

During the heat of political madness of this era, you know, as the same-lingo pairs, we were very frightened for our future: what we have to do, what our children have to deal with?

And so when I heard that the British Columbia was like streamlining things, and I knew that I would be able to continue my career somewhere and still have a way to support my family … it was a big relief.

What would you say that it is like having a single-linga doubles in Texas these days?

It has not changed much for us, as far as day to day. It is unknown what can happen, and what can be a matter of things, I think, I think, the biggest thing is right now.

You know, we should be about those deep discussions with our children that can be safe for us and if we have to leave, and if they did not want to leave, because, you know, they are young adults and can take care of themselves when needed.

So we have to do those difficult discussions if we had to run and take refuge.

So, where are you in the whole process right now?

Logically, we are still finding out. We have a senior in high school and one in college, and one is out of the house.

So we have to consider that first and first: family.

We are still in the air, but we are moving forward to know that the place where we will be.

What about the cost difference? Housing, tax, such things?

It is not all about how much money you earn.

It is about peace of your mind that you are safe on the streets. It is about the peace of the mind to know that you have health care and you don’t have to go, you know, in $ 100,000 loans because you had a medical emergency.

It is about knowing that you have a community that is going to help you take care.

So I have cost differences, taxes, anything like this, because for me, at this point, it is not relevant in my experience.

Therefore, if everything goes well and if it moves forward, how soon will you expect to take this step?

In an ideal world without children, we will be there tomorrow, but it is not just the place where we are now.

We have discussed that perhaps one of us is moving forward and one of us is living here and just going, you know, traveling forward and back.

As I say, we are almost empty nests, but there are not enough there. So only the logistics of being one in high school and finding out where to go from here is our hesitation.

But this will happen in our future. I know that.
