Ingredients
1 cup – Maida
½ cup – Curd
2 tsp – Minced curry leaves
2 tsp – Chopped coriander leavesÂ
2 tsp – Jeera
2 tsp – Minced ginger
2 tsp – Chopped green chilli
Salt – to taste
Oil – to fry
Preparation
1.Mix all the ingredients together until the batter reaches a vada batter consistency.Â
2.Drizzle some oil and let it rest for 4 hours or overnight.
3.Heat oil in a frying pan/ kadai.
4.Add a small portion of the batter to test the oil’s temperature.Â
5.Once the oil is hot, switch to medium flame and add small balls of the fermented batter to the hot oil.Â
6.Fry until golden brown.
7.Transfer the goli bhajis to a tissue lined bowl to absorb the excess oil.
8.Serve it hot with different types of chutneys.
