Ludhiana: A case was filed against four foreign students and their aide for allegedly creating a nuisance in Katani Kalan village while drunk and allegedly disrupting a bhog ceremony. An FIR has been lodged on the complaint of village residents at Koomkalan police station. According to the complaint, a bhog ceremony was scheduled on Monday, for which preparations were on. The students, who live in a rented accommodation in the village, allegedly created a nuisance in an inebriated condition. Residents alleged that a student spilled alcohol from the terrace, which fell on a woman and the utensils being used for the bhog ceremony. This led to an altercation between the students and village residents, after which police were called. Inspector Jagdeep Singh, SHO at Koom Kalan police station stated that an FIR has been registered. tnn
