Ludhiana: Out on a morning walk along Sidhwan Canal in Model Town Extension, a man lost his gold karas and a diamond studded gold ring to snatchers. The complainant, Sweety Iqbal Singh of Model Town Extension said that he was out on a morning walk with a friend. When they reached Sidhwan Canal, two miscreants intercepted them and snatched his gold kara and diamond ring at knifepoint.Investigating officer, ASI Pradeep Kumar said that police have filed a case. tnn

Tragedy struck Bairagarh on Friday morning as a 52-year-old woman, Sushila Patel, was fatally hit by a train during her routine walk.
